Mattia Debertolis receives featured paper award

The publication Engineering structures has awarded Mattia Debertolis and colleagues the Featured Paper Award for the article “ Rope Effect in mechanical panel-timber connections: A comparison between screws and dowels ” 

The article is one of the two articles in the late Mattia Debertolis licentiate thesis. Mattia was a doctoral student at the division of building materials and member of the Italian national team in orienteering, and he tragically died at an orienteering competition in China in August.
