Structural health monitoring of civil engineering structures

The research project focuses on structural health monitoring of bridges, supported by AI and Machine Learning. Algorithms for model-free damage detection method using Artificial Neural Networks are developed to handle and analyse the data in real time, providing support for timely decision making regarding the maintenance of the structure. The research concerns also an economic perspective through evaluating the Value of SHM Information.
