KTH Soil and Rock Mechanics discusses the revision of Eurocode 7

In the course of the ongoing revision of the European design code Eurocode 7 for geotechnical structures, a workshop was organised in Salzburg on October 11 regarding its effect on rock engineering structures. Johan Spross and Håkan Stille represented the Division of Soil and Rock Mechanics and contributed with their review on the revision work: Eurocode 7 should be risk-based to ensure cost-effective and safe design of our future geotechnical structures.
